1. Travel Accident Insurance (Up to IDR 4.000.000.000)
You are automatically covered for up to IDR 4.000.000.000 when you charge full and total fares to your Kartu Kredit Citibank Platinum, including such fares or tickets are part of the cost of any packaged tour provided the full packaged tour cost is purchased with your Kartu Kredit Citibank Platinum.
Should such trip be part of a package tour, cover shall be applied only if minimum of 80% of the total cost of the package tour was charge to your Kartu Kredit Citibank Platinum.
Your Family is Covered as WellYour spouse and children (under 23 years of age and who are unemployed and unmarried) are also provided with the travel insurance coverage if their full and total fares have been charged to your Kartu Kredit Citibank Platinum. Your spouse will enjoy the same amount of Travel Accident Insurance up to Rp.4.000.000.000* while each child will be covered up to 25% of your Travel Accident Insurance coverage.

2. Travel Inconvenience Insurance
You are automatically covered for the Travel Inconvenience Insurance as passenger on air common carrier provided that you charge full and total fares to your Kartu Kredit Citibank Platinum. Should such trip be part of a package tour, cover shall be applied only if minimum of 80% of the total cost of the package tour was charge to your Kartu Kredit Citibank Platinum.
  2.1. Flight Delay Insurance (Up to IDR 8.000.000)
    As long as the flight has been delayed/overbooked/you have missed flight connection or been denied boarding by the airline and no alternative onward flight is available within 4 hours for local trip and 3 hours for overseas trip , you will be reimbursed for up to IDR 4.000.000 for expenses incurred for meals, refreshments, hotel accommodation, telephone calls, transportation costs to and from accommodation as well as the purchases of essential clothing and requisites (excluded cosmetics, perfume, and accessories) if your luggage has been checked in (cover ceases upon your luggage being returned to you). And if you are with your family members, you can claim up to IDR 8.000.000 in total.
  2.2. Luggage Delay Insurance (Up to IDR 8.000.000)
    If your check-in luggage is not delivered to you within 6 hours of your arrival at your scheduled destination, you will be reimbursed up to IDR 4.000.000 for the emergency purchases of essential clothing and requisites (excluded cosmetics, perfume, and accessories) with your Kartu Kredit Citibank Platinum. And if you are with your family members, you can claim up to IDR 8.000.000. Cover ceases upon your luggage being returned to you. This cover is not for replacement of items in the luggage. Don’t forget to keep the purchase slip, Report from airline authority, Property Irregularity Report, and Luggage acceptance report.
  2.3. Luggage Lost Insurance (Up to IDR 48.000.000)
    If your check-in luggage is not delivered to you within 24 hours of your arrival at your scheduled destination, we assume it is lost. You will be reimbursed up to IDR 24.000.000 or IDR 48.000.000 for the whole family for the emergency purchases within 5 days of your arrival at your scheduled destination, of essential clothing and requisites (excluded cosmetics, perfume, and accessories) with your Kartu Kredit Citibank Platinum. However, as soon as the luggage has been returned to you, cover ceases and you will not be reimbursed for any expenses incurred after that time. 3. Overseas Family Medical Insurance (Up to IDR 300.000.000)
Protects Citi Platinum basic cardholder against “Medical Expenses” arising from bodily injury incurred outside Indonesia in any accident during your trip. With maximum of 30 days overseas travel. And if you are with your family members, you are protected up to Rp.300.000.000 (total claim):
= Maximum coverage per incident is Rp.150.000.000* per basic cardholder or Rp.300.000.000* for basic cardholder and family
= Maximum coverage during insurance period is Rp.150.000.000* per basic cardholder or Rp. 300.000.000* for basic cardholder and family.
Note: Deductible of IDR500.000 (to be paid by cardholder) for every occurrence (each and every claim of overseas medical expenses)
Your Family is Covered as Well
Your spouse and children (under 23 years of age and who are unemployed and unmarried) are also provided with the Overseas Family Medical Insurance. Your spouse will enjoy the same amount of Overseas Medical Insurance up to Rp.150.000.000 while each child (under the age of 23 years) will be covered up to Rp.75.000.000

"Medical Expenses" means expenses incurred overseas within 60 (sixty) days of sustaining Injury or Sickness and paid by the Insured Person to a legally Qualified Medical Practitioner, Hospital and/or ambulance service for medical, surgical, X-ray, Hospital or nursing treatment including the cost of medical supplies and ambulance hire and including the cost of dental treatment where such treatment is necessarily incurred to restore sound and natural teeth and is caused by an Accident. All treatment must be prescribed by a Qualified Medical Practitioner in order for expenses to be reimbursed under this Policy and shall not exceed the usual level of charges for similar treatment, medical services or supplies in the location where the expenses where incurred had this insurance not existed.
The Company will reimburse the Insured Person up to the limit, the usual customary and reasonably medically necessary expense as defined, incurred whilst overseas as a result of Injury or Sickness suffered by the Insured Person solely and independently of any other causes.
The Insurance also cover against Medical Expenses incurred for treatment or follow-up treatment in Indonesia upon returning from the trip, provided that the Insured Person is confined to a Hospital directly as a result of Injury or Sickness which the Insured had sustained whilst overseas. Admission to Hospital must be within 12 (twelve) hours after arrival into the territorial boundaries of Indonesia and must be a continuation of medical attention sought while overseas. The maximum sum payable for medical expenses incurred in Indonesia is for up to 7 (seven) consecutive days stay in Hospital or 5% of the maximum benefit as shown in the Policy Schedule, whichever occurs first.
Deductible: Any member of cardholders bears the first Rp. 500,000 of each and every claim

  • 30 days after event occurs (for Travel Insurance and Overseas Medical Insurance)
  • maximum 48 hours after event occurs (for Global Purchase Protection Insurance)
