Credit Shield Plus provides you below benefits:
- In the event of Death or Total Disability or being diagnosed one of Critical Illnesses during the coverage period Credit Shield Plus shall pay:
- 100% of customer’s monthly outstanding balance stated in Citi Credit Card billing statement to Policyholder.
- 200% of customer’s monthly outstanding balance stated in Citi Credit Card billing statement to Customer or customer’s Beneficiary.
- In the event of Temporary Dissability during the coverage period Credit Shield Plus shall pay 5% of ongoing monthly Credit Card outstanding balance to Policyholder in the first month the Insured suffers Temporary Disability, and 10% of ongoing monthly outstanding balance to Policyholder from 2nd month onwards up to 12 months, as long as the Insured suffers Temporary Disability.
Credit Shield Plus benefits is given to You with an affordable Premium : 0.69% of Your Monthly Outstanding Balance.
Credit Shield Plus is an insurance product issued by PT Prudential Life Assurance. This product is NOT a saving or NOT a bank deposit, NOT an obligation and is not guaranteed by Citibank, N.A ("Citibank"), Citigroup or its affiliates. Credit Shield Plus is not included as an object of deposit guaranteed program (LPS). Product offering by Citibank is based on Citibank's consent and it only reflects marketing agreement between Citibank and PT Prudential Life Assurance as an issuer of Credit Shield Plus and it does not entail that the Insurance product is a Bank's product. Customers’ participation in the Credit Shield Plus program is optional.

In th event of insurance benefit claim rejection, then Citibank as the Policy holder has no obligation to explain the respective claim rejection reason If Customer of Credit Shield Plus does not agree with the term and condition stated in the Credit Shield Plus Policy Certificate, then the Customer of Credit Shield Plus have right to cancel within 30 days since the first premium payment date as long as no claim is submitted for insurance benefit that covered by PT Prudential Life Assurance Policy Certificate and Insurer will return the paid premium to Citibank Credit Card.
Insured is exposed to Insurance Companies credit risk, which means the insurance policy involves risks, in which there is possibility that insurance companies is not financially capable to pay the payable money as stated in Policy document, and may result potential lost in some part of insured value and other values as stated in Policy document.
Insurance product offered through marketing agreement between Citibank and PT Prudential Life Assurance has been reported and/or receive affirmation letter and/or approval from Bank Indonesia and related authority. Insured is registered and being monitored by Regulatory Body Otoritas Jasa Keuangan.
