Export LC Collection
Description Trade services for collection of documentary letter-of-credit including domestic documentary letter-of-credit.
Benefit Utilizing bank-to-bank relationship and/or communication to make sure that importer/ buyer has paid/accepted the documents.
Risk Commercial dispute risk where the good and/or service are shipped/sent/provided while payment has not been received. In this regard, bank only acts as the intermediary agent for the documents and payment flow.
Procedure No credit line against client is required for utilizing this facility. Client must fill and sign on the application form for export documentary letter-of-credit collection. Export Bill Negotiation
Description Trade financing for funding the export documentary letter-of- credit including domestic documentary letter-of-credit either with full recourse to client or without recourse by taking issuing bank’s payment risk.
Benefit Client can receive immediate discounted payment without having to wait for final payment from issuing bank upon compliance of documents against letter-of-credit’s terms and conditions and/or upon acceptance from issuing bank.
Procedure Non-payment from issuing bank at maturity, bank will debit client’s account only in the case of full recourse. Otherwise, bank will take this non-payment risk other than if this is caused by fraudulent transaction.

Operational risk arising from difference perception on documents’ compliance against letter-of-credit’s terms and conditions that may cause non-payment.
Procedure Credit line against client should be in place or otherwise cash collateral will be used only with recourse transaction. Client must fill and sign on the application form for negotiation/ discounting of export letter-of-credit either with or without recourse for each of the drawdown.

Bank Guarantee

Bank Guarantee (BG), SBLC, Counter Guarantee



Description Trade services for bank guarantee issuance that includes bid bond, performance bond, shipping guarantee, advance payment bond, custom guarantee, SBLC, dan counter-guarantee.
Benefit Establish guarantee on client’s performance and/or advance of payment with regard of buying or selling of goods and/or services.
Risk Risk of the guarantee being claimed by the beneficiary where the bank will take a recourse on the client.
Procedure Credit line against client as applicant should be in place or otherwise cash collateral will be used.

Client must fill and sign on the application form for bank guarantee issuance where the format of the guarantee issued should be in accordance to bank’s format or other format approved by the bank.

In case of claim, bank will pay to the beneficiary and take full recourse to the client while disregarding dispute between the client and beneficiary.

Account Receivable Purchase
Description Financing for post-shipment domestic and cross-border commercial transactions through the purchase of Trade Account Receivables.
Benefit Alternative trade funding for post-shipment transaction
Risk Commercial dispute risk where the good and/or service received is not in accordance to the document specification where the bank has financed.
Procedure Availability of credit limit against buyer given by the guarantor(s) for insolvency risk.

The drawdown on the purchase of receivables is by the submission of Exhibit to Request (List of Account Receivables), copy of invoices and other supporting documents (if any) as proof of underlying transaction to bank. Bank may provide advancement of funds up to 100% of the invoice value at discounted rate to Seller, up to the limit provided.

The Seller must sign Purchase Agreement, and the Buyer must sign Notice of Assignment.

Supply Chain Financing
Description Financing of post-shipment commercial transactions through the purchase of Account Receivables as part of Trade Working Capital Finance solutions, with a primary relationship to Buyer.
Benefit Alternative trade funding for post-shipment transaction
Risk Interest rate and currency exchange risk (which are associated to all foreign currency financing).

In the case citiconnect for trade is used, there is a possibility of system error that disrupt the transaction to be processed.
Procedure Availability of credit limit against buyer given by the guarantor(s) for insolvency risk.

The drawdown on the purchase of receivable is by submitting electronic file uploaded into the system (citiconnect for trade) or by submitting copy of receivables to the bank. Bank will provide full advancement of fund at discounted rate to seller up to the limit provided.

The client should have signed paying service agremeent.
