Citibank N.A., Indonesia (Citi Indonesia) is a full branch of Citibank, N.A., a wholly owned subsidiary of Citigroup, Inc., which is based in New York, United States of America. Citi is a preeminent banking partner for institutions with cross-border needs, a global leader in wealth management and a valued personal bank in its home market of the United States. Citi does business in nearly 160 countries and jurisdictions, providing corporations, governments, investors, institutions and individuals with a broad range of financial products and services.

   

In Indonesia, Citi was established since 1968 and is one of the country’s largest foreign banks. Citi operates 9 branches in six major cities – Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, Semarang, Medan and Denpasar. In Indonesia, Citi has a corporate distribution network of around 776 locations in 38 provinces. Citibank N.A., Indonesia is connected to the ATM Bersama network with more than 77,000 ATM terminals spread across various locations throughout Indonesia.

 

Citibank also works actively to make an important contribution in citizenship which reaches various communities who are in need. Under the umbrella of Citi Peka (Care and Create Something Impactful), Citibank’s mission is to enable growth and economic progress for the beneficiaries. Established since 1998, CitiPeka (Citi Peduli dan Berkarya – Caring & Creating Something Impactful) is an umbrella for all Citi Indonesia’s community activities, mainly funded by Citi Foundation. CitiPeka has actively engaged across Indonesia where Citi operates by investing more than USD16 million in grant funds grants to more than 58 non-profit organizations in implementing more than 44 programs that reached more than 6.5 million people. CitiPeka has focused its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities on the pillars of financial literacy & inclusion, youth empowerment, and gender equality. Guided by the principle of "More than Philanthropy", CitiPeka has involved more than 50% of Citi Indonesia employees as volunteers in various social activities.

  • Citi Indonesia’s Institutional Clients Group (ICG) has four offices located in Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, and Medan.
  • ICG core business includes Cash/Trade Finance, FX/Rates/Derivatives, Loans, and Custody.
  • We provide comprehensive financial solutions to a wide range of customers that include local corporates, the government / state owned enterprises, multinational corporates, and small/medium enterprises.
  • In Indonesia, Citi has a corporate distribution network of around 776 locations in 38 provinces.
  • Citibank is also affiliated with PT Citigroup Sekuritas Indonesia (PT CSI), which has an underwriting license. The main products of PT CSI are Equity Research, Equity Brokerage, and Equity Underwriting/IPO.
  • PT Citigroup Sekuritas Indonesia (PT CSI) was awarded its membership approval by the Indonesia Stock Exchange to operate as a member of the IDX in July 2010.

Global Consumer Banking

  • The Global Consumer Banking (GCB) operates 9 branch offices and 26 ATMs in Indonesia. Citibank is integrated with the ATM Bersama networks with over 77,000 ATM terminals spread across Indonesia.
  • Our core business in GCB includes credit cards, consumer lending, savings & deposits, wealth management that covers: investment, insurance and treasury products. GCB is a pioneer in the Indonesia credit card industry, as well as wealth management banking.
  • GCB is also at the forefront in its offering of Digital Banking in Indonesia, and aims continuously provide innovative and value added products and services to our customers.
