Kewajiban Penggunaan 6 Digit PIN untuk Transaksi EDC

Nasabah Citibank Yang Terhormat,

Sehubungan dengan berlakunya Surat Edaran Bank Indonesia Nomor 17/52/DKSP tanggal 30 Desember 2015 tentang Implementasi Standard Nasional Teknologi Chip dan Penggunaan Personal Identification Number (PIN) 6 Digit untuk kartu ATM dan/atau Kartu Debet yang diterbitkan di Indonesia. Kami menginformasikan bahwa tanggal 22 Juni 2017, apabila Nasabah melakukan transaksi di terminal EDC, maka Nasabah wajib memasukan 6 digit PIN.

Kenapa saya diwajibkan untuk menggunakan 6 Digit PIN untuk bertransaksi? Ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan keamanan dan kenyamanan Bapak/Ibu dalam bertransaksi selain juga merupakan aturan dari Bank Indonesia yaitu No 17/52/DKSP tanggal 30 Desember 2015 tentang Implementasi Standard Nasional Teknologi Chip dan Penggunaan Personal Identification Number (PIN) 6 Digit untuk kartu ATM dan/atau Kartu Debet yang diterbitkan di Indonesia.
Transaksi dimana saja yang mewajibkan menggunakan 6 Digit PIN? Untuk saat ini transaksi yang mewajibkan penggunaan 6 Digit PIN adalah transaksi di ATM dan EDC di seluruh Indonesia.
Apa yang terjadi jika saya tidak memasukkan PIN 6 Digit pada mesin ATM atau EDC? Efektif 22 Juni 2017 setiap transaksi Kartu Debet Citibank di ATM dan EDC wajib menggunakan PIN 6 Digit. Apabila Bapak/Ibu tidak memasukkan PIN pada mesin ATM atau EDC maka transaksi Bapak/Ibu tidak bisa diproses.
Kenapa saya tidak bisa melakukan transaksi di mesin EDC Citibank? Saat ini mesin EDC Citibank sedang dalam proses penyesuaian dengan kewajiban penggunaan 6 Digit PIN. Oleh karena itu untuk sementara sampai dengan 30 June 2017, transaksi di mesin EDC dengan Kartu Debet Citibank hanya bisa dilakukan di 10 merchant Citibank, seperti:

Untuk sementara EDC Citibank selain yang disebutkan di atas tidak dapat melakukan proses transaksi sampai dengan 29 September 2017, namun Bapak/Ibu masih bisa bertransaksi di mesin EDC bank lain yang sudah disesuaikan.
Notification on Bilyet Giro Provisions

Dear Valued Customer,

Effective April 1, 2017 in accordance with Bank Indonesia Regulation No. 18/41 / PBI / 2016 there are some changes in the provisions of Bilyet Giro as follows:

  • 1. The validity period of New Bilyet Giro is 70 days from the withdrawal date.
  • 2. The old format of Bilyet Giro with withdrawal date before April, 1 2017 may still be used and valid until December 31, 2017 with the validity of period is 70 days and 6 months.
  • 3. Bilyet Giro with old format and the date of withdrawal is on April 1, 2017 and onwards, shall adhere the validity period of 70 days from the withdrawal date.
  • 4. Maximum Warkat Debit value for Bilyet Giro through SKNBI is amount to Rp500,000,000, - (five hundred million rupiah).

Monitoring of Foreign Exchange Movement between Bank and Customer

Pursuant to the Bank Indonesia Circular Letter No 18/23/DSta/2016 regarding: Monitoring of Foreign Exchange Movement between Bank and Customer, hence bank is required to regulate any outgoing overseas transaction with value above USD100,000 or equivalent. For this transaction, Customer must complete Foreign Exchange Payment-Receipts Activities Monitoring form and submit relevant underlying documents* related to the outgoing overseas transaction.
This regulation is effective starting 7 November 2016.

* Supporting document is relevant document that contain information related to the purpose of the Outgoing Transfer: Invoice, Purchase Order, Agreement, Proof of Payment, Statement Letter etc as stated in Bank Indonesia’s circulation letter.

Transfer limits via Citibank Online and Citi Mobile

Personal & Employment Data Update

IMPORTANT NOTICE

For continuous communication and to avoid Citi Credit Card or Citi Ready Credit abuse, please update your personal and employment data as follows:

  • 1. Call 24-Hours CitiPhone Banking at (021) 252 9999 or 69999 via mobile phone.
  • 2. After that, send the latest copy of ID/Tax ID (NPWP)/Income Data and Citi Credit Card number via fax to (021) 5794 7598 or via e-mail to edocument@citi.com with subject : Data Update.
  • 3. It is important to note that the income and Tax ID (NPWP) data updating are also required to increase the limit in Credit / Credit Limit Combined
  • 4. If there is no notification on the update of personal data, employment and Tax ID (NPWP) within 5 business days since document is received; personal data, employment and Tax ID (NPWP) that currently recorded in Citibank internal system considered as accurate and no change
  • 5. Report immediately in case of lost and/or stolen card to the 24-Hours CitiPhone Banking service.
  • 6. Make sure address listed is the correct address complete with postal code. If there is any changes of address, please contact 24-Hours CitiPhone Banking service.
  • 7. If you have not received your billing statement in 7 days before the due date, please contact 24-Hours CitiPhone Banking Service.

Referring to Circular Letter of Bank Indonesia No. 15/21/DPNP as of 2013 on the Implementation of Anti Money Laundering and Prevention of Terrorism Financing Programs for Commercial Banks, Banks must decline transaction, cancel transaction and/or close your Card if customers refuse to update the data.

Obligation to Use Rupiah in Indonesia

In accordance with the issuance of BI Regulation No. 17/3/PBI/2015 regarding Obligation to Use Rupiah in the Territory of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, starting July 1, 2015, for every transactions in foreign currency, Customers are required to state the underlying transactions in the transfer/ transaction form.

Changes of Provision for Domestic Fund Transfer

Dear Valued Customer,

In accordance with Surat Edaran Bank Indonesia (SEBI) No 17/30/DPSP, hereby we would like to inform that effective 1 July 2016, there will be amendments as follow:

  1. RTGS-BI fee charged by Bank to Customer is Rp35.000,- per transaction
  2. Fund transfer through BI-RTGS System will be applied for amount above Rp100.000.000,-
  3. Fund transfer through SKN-BI System is applied for any amount up to Rp500.000.000,-
