BankIndonesia (BI) menetapkan jadwal baru kegiatan operasional dan layanan publik mendukung optimalisasi penyelesaian transaksi keuangan Pemerintah khususnya terkait program Pemulihan Ekonomi Nasional (PEN), serta dalam rangkamengantisipasi transaksi pembayaran yang cenderung meningkat di penghujung tahun, terhitung mulai tanggal 2 November 2020 hingga pemberitahuan lebih lanjut. Penetapan jadwal tersebut merupakan upaya untuk mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi melalui perpanjangan waktu layanan transaksi keuangan baik yang dilakukanoleh masyarakat, industri keuangan, serta Pemerintah. Untuk itu, diharapkan agar industri keuangan termasuk Penyelenggara Jasa Sistem Pembayaran (PJSP) dapat segera melakukan persiapan sistem dan kegiatan operasional yang diperlukan.

Bank Indonesia mengimbau industri di sektor keuangan termasuk Penyelenggara Sistem Pembayaran (PJSP) dan Penyelenggara Jasa Pengolahan Uang Rupiah (PJPUR) untukmelakukan langkah-langkah yag diperlukan baik pada infrastruktur maupun mekanisme yang terkait dengan penetapan jadwal baru kegiatan operasional dan layanan publik tersebut sehingga layanan kepada pemangku kepentingan dan masyarakat tetap dapat berjalan aman dan lancar.
Adapun pelaksanaan kegiatan operasional di industri sektor keuangan termasuk PJSP dan PJPURmenjadi pertimbangan dan kewenangan masing-masinginstitusi. BI mengimbau industri keuangan termasuk PJSP dan PJPUR untuk tetap mendorong gaya hidup baru (new lifestyle) dalam melakukan kegiatan usahanya dengan selalu menerapkan protokol kesehatan dan pencegahan penyebaran COVID-19.
Bank Indonesia akan terus melakukan koordinasi dan sinergi dengan Pemerintah, otoritas, dan industri terkait dalam menempuh langkah-langkah kolektif untuk melakukan pemantauan, asesmen, pencegahan dan mitigasi implikasi penyebaran pandemi COVID-19.

Q: Will the interest rate reduction for Citi Credit Card be valid permanently?
A: Interest rate reduction for Citi Credit Card to 2% per month or 24% per annum is valid from May 1, 2020 until further notice from Bank of Indonesia.
Q: How the interest is calculated in my billing statement if my cycle date is May 7, 2020?
A: Credit card interest is calculated daily using interest rate that is valid on the given date. Hence, daily interest calculation starting May 1 will use the interest rate of 24% per annum. Daily interest calculated before May 1 will use interest rate that is valid at that time, which is 26.95% per annum.
Q: Are the changes for interest rate, temporary changes for late fee and minimum due calculation valid for Citibank Ready Credit as well?
A: Bank of Indonesia policy governs credit card business. Hence, there are no changes for Citibank Ready Credit.

Under the NPG scheme and referring to Article 43 of the Board of Governor Regulation No. 19 / 10 / PADG / 2017 dated September 20, 2017 a National logo debit card will be launched as part of National Branding initiative and to further support domestic transaction using NPG system

Pursuant to the Bank Indonesia Circular Letter No 18/23/DSta/2016 regarding: Monitoring of Foreign Exchange
Movement between Bank and Customer, hence bank is required to regulate any outgoing overseas transaction with value above USD100,000 or equivalent. For this transaction, Customer must complete Foreign Exchange Payment-Receipts Activities Monitoring form and submit relevant underlying documents* related to the outgoing overseas transaction.
This regulation is effective starting 7 November 2016.
* Supporting document is relevant document that contain information related to the purpose of the Outgoing Transfer: Invoice, Purchase Order, Agreement, Proof of Payment, Statement Letter etc as stated in Bank Indonesia’s circulation letter.
